Our organic raspberries are grown in the high latitudes of northern Europe where the harsh climate necessitates the production of additional protective elements by raspberry plants.  These protective elements are what we refer to as antioxidants.  As a result, we gain more health benefits from the berries because they were grown in a challenging environment.

A key study indicated that an antioxidant found in raspberries known as ellagic acid may not only help in preventing cellular damage, but may also repair damaged DNA.
