Our organic cocoa powder originates from the rural farms of Peru.  The powder produced by grinding cocoa beans then removing the cocoa butter.  Cocoa powder is particularly rich in flavanols which have strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.  Additionally, it’s been found that polyphenols such as those found in cocoa powder can reduce risk of neurodegenerative diseases and improve brain function and blood flow.
